Join Us

We are a family friendly Club and take particular care of our younger members, many of whom have been with us since soon after birth.

Before you join us, we would like you to feel happy that you want to become a member of the Torbay Sun Club, so we ask you to visit us a few times before you submit an Application Form. That gives you the chance to get to know the Club and the Club gets to meet you.

If You're Young

You'll be really welcome and, as a special incentive if you're of YBN age (18-30), you only pay half the normal membership rate and no joining fee.

If You're Single

You're not alone!

Everyone starts life as a 'single', some people stay that way and others, for the saddest of reasons, become single again later in life.  We understand that.

We also know that our members - singles and couples - value its 'family atmosphere' and so it's important to us that newcomers are comfortable in that situation.  Some people are, some aren't, and you'll probably know yourself whether or not it's for you.

Boring

This might sound rather formal but please be assured that new members are important to us and it's not intended to put anyone off.

Legally speaking, we are a 'Private Members Club', which has some worthwhile benefits to the Club and its members, but it binds us to certain procedures.  If you decide that you would like to join us, your Application will be considered by a Committee drawn from our membership, and they will decide whether to invite you to do so.

You don't send any money with your Application, but your membership is finalised when you accept the Club's offer of Membership and pay your joining fee and first year's subscription.
